Gas delivery from Cyprus to Bulgaria discussed

Bulgarian Energy Minister Temenuzhka Petkova and the Minister of Energy, Commerce, Industry and Tourism of Cyprus Yiorgos Lakkotrypis discussed the possibility of natural gas supplies to Bulgaria from Cyprus.

Minister Petkova stated that natural gas from Cyprus was one of the options for fueling the Balkan gas hub the government plans to construct. Minister Lakkotrypis on his part said that Bulgaria was one of the countries included in Cyprus’ plans of building a unified natural gas supply corridor from the Mediterranean basin to Europe.
