President to hear candidate members of Central Election Commission

On May 7, at 8 am, President Rumen Radev is to conduct the additional consultations with the political parties and coalitions represented in parliament to nominate a chairman of the Central Election Commission. The reason is the withdrawal of the only candidate proposed by the parties for the post from the GERB/SDS coalition.
At 9 am the Bulgarian head of state will hold a hearing of the candidates proposed by the parties and coalitions for members and leadership of the Central Election Commission. 
The consultations and the public hearing of the candidates will be broadcast live on the website of the presidential institution at: https://www.president.bg/static56/Online-video/
