Police violence during the anti-government protests last summer is among the reasons behind the dismissal of the Chief Secretary of Bulgaria’s Interior Ministry, Chief Commissioner Ivaylo Ivanov, reads a statement on the Council of Ministers' website.
According to the statement, the caretaker cabinet adopted a decision proposing to President Rumen Radev to issue a decree terminating the powers of Ivaylo Ivanov due to the violation of fundamental working principles at the Interior Ministry.
