The Bulgarian Energy Holding, BEH, once again has just one CEO, after the holding had two for about a week.

At an extraordinary sitting yesterday, the Bulgarian Energy Holding board members, freshly appointed by Energy Minister Andrey Zhivkov, decided to relieve one of the two CEOs, Valentin Nikolov from the post, and from now on it will only have one - Ivan Andreev.

After failing to replace BEH’s management in the summer, about a week ago Minister Zhivkov increased the number of people who sit on the board of directors from 5 to 9, and the CEOs from 1 to 2, appointing Ivan Andreev to the second Chief Executive Officer position.

Valentin Nikolov stated that he had not been invited to attend the board sitting adding that he had not yet decided whether to appeal the decision or not, BNR’s Juliana Kornazheva reports.
