From December 12 to February 15, 2024, Sofia's UniArt gallery will host the exhibition "In the mirror of Rembrandt", featuring high-quality reproductions of heliographic engravings of the famous artist, NBU announced. With their own interpretations, based on Rembrandt's engravings, students from the Department of Fine Arts of the higher educational institution will participate in the exhibition.

The official opening is on December 18, when two poems about Rembrandt by Joseph Brodsky and Elizabeth Jennings will be premiered, translated by Dr. Boryana Katsarska (poet and translator) and Prof. Alexander Shurbanov (Sofia University).

The students from the Theatre department will perform a dramatization, and Prof. Yavor Konov will present musical images from the artist's era. Students from the Department of Media and Communication will present their research project "Rembrandt in the Digital Space"  carried out under the guidance of Justine Toms, online media and marketing specialist.
