Seven-year-old Magdalena Stoyanova from art school "Kolorit" in Pleven received a gold medal and a distinction from the international children's drawing competition "Health 2025". The award ceremony took place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, within the framework of the eleventh edition of the International Festival of Paintings for Pediatric Patients (IFPPP), the art school told BTA.
Magdalena's painting "Healing with Love" was selected from over 600 works by children from all over the world who participated in the competition. It is organized by the Health and Art (HEART) international group in Iran, which unites paediatricians from all over the world with the sole purpose of maintaining and improving the mental health of sick children around the world. Magdalena's drawing is included in an international exhibition with 40 children's works from the competition and will be shown in different countries and continents in children's clinics and wards.
