For more than four decades, the talented violinist has been conquering the world stages. From America where he teaches through Europe, Asia and Australia, Pinchas Zukerman has actively toured and participated in various programs. An entertainer, instrumentalist, conductor, pedagogue... anything one might say about the display of his talent will be insufficient. Highly valued as a chamber musician, he left a deep mark on the world musical heritage with his interpretations of some of the most famous violin works. He has won numerous awards from competitions, he has played with the best orchestras and has conducted some of them. Now in Sofia, in the Bulgaria concert hall, he arrives with cellist Amanda Forsyth - his companion on stage and in life. She is also a performer with extensive experience. As a founding member of the Zukerman Chamber Players ensemble, the cellist has participated in many prestigious festivals.
In the concert on February 15, Pinchas Zukerman and Amanda Forsyth are to perform the well-known Concerto for Violin and Orchestra written by Ludwig van Beethoven and Max Bruch’s - Canzona for Cello and Orchestra, Op. 55. The Orchestra of Classic FM radio will be part of the upcoming musical event.
