Refugees in Bulgaria prepare for Persian and Kurdish New Year

Refugee families will meet in Bulgaria the Persian and Kurdish New Year and Mother's Day, celebrated traditionally in their societies. The festivities are organized in cooperation with the Red Cross and with the financial support of the UN High Commissariat for Refugees. To celebrate these holidays, typical folk songs, dances, and rituals will be performed. Traditional food will be prepared for the refugees and the guests. Hosts of the celebrations will be the chairmen of the Red Cross - Hristo Grigorov and the State Agency for Refugees - Nikolai Chirpanliev.
