The Bulgarian National Bank welcomes the efforts of the EPIC Consortium, representing major shareholders of Corporate Commercial Bank, to support the recapitalization of the bank and is ready to participate in the discussions related to restructuring of CCB and the Victoria Commercial Bank. The Bulgarian National Bank says that currently the two banks continue to experience a huge shortage of cash, needed to pay their obligations to depositors, which total 6 227 million lev for CCB and 285 million lev for Victoria Commercial Bank.
