June 1 is a great day for kids. On this day the sky is full of colorful balloons, music is everywhere and children's wishes are mandatory for adults. Young singers and radio choirs join celebrations as well. Next, we present their performances.
First, we begin with Radio Children Vocal Group led by conductor Ilina Todorova. This year the group marks its 25th anniversary. Singers in the group are aged from 5 to 11. They are engaged in recording programs for the Bulgarian National Radio and give various concerts. The most recent of them was in the concert program of the BNR Big Band 24 Frames of Jazz dedicated to the centenary of Bulgarian cinema.
Apart from the Radio Children the Bulgarian National Radio also takes pride in its Children's Choir. Its repertoire includes the best of choral literature.
