Bulgaria’ Deputy Premier for Demographic and Social Policies and Minister of Labor and Social Policy Ivaylo Kalfin met with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Home Affairs, Justice and Economy of Liechtenstein Thomas Zwiefelhofer, the press office of Bulgaria’s Ministry of Labor and Social Policy announced. Ministers Kalfin and Zwiefelhofer discussed the development of the dual education in both EU countries. Minister Thomas Zwiefelhofer was impressed by Bulgaria’s efforts to introduce dual education and came up with the proposal that experts from the two countries should meet and exchange experience and good practices. Minister Kalfin also met with Alois, Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein. Prince Alois showed interest in strengthening the cooperation between Bulgaria and Lichtenstein. In return, Minister Kalfin accentuated on the stable economic situation in Bulgaria and pointed out that Bulgaria’s economic growth in 2015 was among the highest in the whole EU. Bulgaria and Liechtenstein are beginning to cooperate to promote start-ups in high-tech and innovative businesses. Bulgaria is also to draw on Liechtenstein’s good practices in setting up and managing financial instruments for start-up businesses, Minister Kalfin said after the meetings with Alois and Deputy Premier Zwiefelhofer.
