Bulgarian wines win 109 medals at World Wine Competition

Bulgarian wines won a total of 109 medals at the World Wine Competition Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, the press office of the National Vine and Wine Chamber in Bulgaria announced. Bulgaria confirmed its image as a country producing high-quality wines, because 42% of all 260 Bulgarian wines presented at the world competition won medals, of which 4 double gold medals, 47 gold medals and 58 silver medals. Bulgaria presented wines of exceptional quality and taste to the international jury which also consisted of Bulgarian enologists, sommeliers, journalists and experts. 55 countries presented nearly 9,000 wines at the 23rd edition of Concours Mondial de Bruxelles which was held for the first time in Bulgaria at the International Fair Plovdiv.
