National statistics: GDP growth comes to 2.9 percent

The National Statistical Institute has released figures suggesting that during the 2016 first trimester the gross Domestic Product of Bulgaria came to 9466 million euro or 1324 euro per capita. This accounts for a 2.9 percent growth on the same period of 2015. 82.5 percent of GDP has been spent on end consumption. The foreign trade balance of goods and services is positive.
