A total of 28 Black Sea beaches have already been checked by inspectors of the Bulgarian Ministry of Tourism. Beach inspections started on June 21, Minister of Tourism Nikolina Angelkova reported. Among the most common violations detected so far is insufficient number of lifeguards, lack of medical centers and others. In order to protect the rights of tourists, Minister Angelkova has ordered information boards placed at all beaches. They will provide tourists with information in Bulgarian, English, German and Russian about the obligations of the concessionaires and the rights of tourists. A special hotline for reporting irregularities and violations will be opened: +359 2 90 46 833. One could also report violations using e-mail: control@tourism.government.bg
