Stability in Turkey is very important for Bulgaria: Ambassador Neynski

Stability in Turkey is of big importance for Bulgaria and the whole world, Bulgaria’s Ambassador to Ankara Nadezhda Neynski said on Tuesday. If Turkey is destabilized, its migrant agreement with the EU can’t function, because Turkey will be no longer regarded as a third safe country, Ambassador Neynski explained. Meanwhile, Nadezhda Neynski pointed out that although it is important for Ankara and the EU to continue with the dialogue, the European Union must not stay impassive or silent, if human rights are violated in that country and if those who were involved in the recent coup attempt do not receive a fair trial.
