Two Bulgarian boys find meteorite in South Bulgaria

Two Bulgarian boys found a meteor near the town of Kardzhali (Southeast Bulgaria). It weighs 4,6 kilograms and has very high iron content. The meteorite is twice heavier than the largest meteorite ever found in Bulgaria. The drop-shaped meteor is extremely heavy. We are talking about an iron meteor, Director of the Astronomical Observatory Agop Uzunbohusyan told the Bulgarian National Radio. According to the expert, the meteorite is part of the Leonid meteor shower which happens every year in November.
