Bulgarian teams continue rescue effort in Macedonia

Teams from the National Fire Security and Protection of the Population Service and of the Sofia Municipality Emergency and Rescue unit are still in place in Macedonia to continue their rescue efforts.
Bulgaria will send 20 tons of mineral water, as agreed with Skopje municipality; the head of PM Borissov’s office is coordinating the additional aid. The Bulgarian Red Cross has received hundreds of calls with offers of help, including volunteer work as part of the rescue operation. More than 20 people have died in the disastrous flooding in Macedonia.
