Bulgarian rowers reach double sculls final in Rio

Bulgarians Georgi Bozhilov and Kristian Vasilev have qualified for the "B" final of the double sculls tournament at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. Bazhilov and Vasilev finished last in the first semifinal series of the discipline after overcoming a distance of 2000 meters for a time of 6:47.00 minutes. This way the competitors qualified for the "B" final, which will take place on August 11. They will be playing for placing 7th to 12th. Winners in the series became brothers Marin and Valent Sinkovic (Croatia) with a time of 6:12.27 minutes.
