At a special briefing the Interior Ministry categorically denied arising suspicions that Turkish citizen Abdullah Buyuk was handed over to the Turkish authorities following a deal with Ankara.
His detention and extradition to Turkey took place following an Interpol signal. The suspicions that Buyuyk was handed over to the Turkish authorities in exchange for promises not to allow refugees into Bulgaria or in exchange for the return of a Turkish citizen charged of killing two Bulgarian motorists in a road accident are not true, the Interior Ministry says.
