Ivet Lalova misses Rio 100 m semifinals

Ivet Lalova has missed the 100 m race semifinals in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic track-and- field tournament. The top Bulgarian sprinter felt minor pain after a strain and has been to see a doctor. After consultations with her coach Ivet Lalova decided to miss the 100 m race semifinals. Specialists have said that the athlete will be able to join the 200 m race event in Rio which opens on Monday. It is Ivet Lalova’s favorite distance.
