Ships open to public at Varna Nautical station

A ceremony of flying ship flags at Varna’s Nautical Station gave the start to celebrations marking the 137th anniversary of the Bulgarian Navy. The cadets from the Nikola Vaptsarov Naval Academy will be promoted to their first officer rank. From 12 am till 15 pm warships will be open for the public at the Nautical Station in the city. In the meantime the Municipality of Varna has said that the second Bulgarian-Dutch marine forum will be held in Dordrecht in October. During the forum potential partners from the marine sector will be presented – shipyards, businesses, universities, port operators and other institutions from the two countries.
