EU Commissioner hails Bulgaria measures against nodular dermatitis

Meeting with PM Boyko Borissov in Sofia the EU Commissioner for Health and Food Safety Vytenis Andriukaitis has said that Bulgaria is a good example for the countries of Southeast Europe where fighting nodular dermatitis is concerned, and has hailed measures taken against the infectious disease affecting animals. Borissov has vowed that for the time being the situation is under control and there are no new outbreaks of the infection. The prime minister has told the EU commissioner that legislation amendments have been worked out for tightening food safety control.
