Grigor Dimitrov qualifies for round of sixteen at China Open

Bulgaria’s best tennis player Grigor Dimitrov qualified for the round of sixteen at Beijing tennis tournament after defeating Steve Johnson from the USA- 7:5; 6:7; 6:4 in the first round. The match lasted for 2.44 hours. The tennis tournament in Beijing is part of ATP 500 and its prize fund amounts to USD 4.16 million. Dimitrov had the chance to close the match much earlier, but missed 4 set balls in the tiebreak of the second set. His next opponent in the second round is Luka Pui from France who defeated Rafael Nadal at the US Open and later reached the quarterfinals of that tournament.
