At a forum in Sofia organized by the European People’s Party, the Bulgarian PM made a surprisingly strong-worded comment on the migration issue. Bulgaria should take responsibility and help people who flee military conflicts in places where Europe and NATO have intervened. This is what Boyko Borissov said as he opened the forum “Migration and integration: influence on women”. „Everybody will open their hearts to help these destitute people, because our missiles – French, British, American, Russian and Turkish have destroyed their countries. We have exported democracy that has ruined those countries. And we are now waiting for the time when Tony Blair came up and said: “We were wrong on Iraq.” Why wait ten years to apologize? Why not stop all this immediately, Borissov asked.
