Bulgarian Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova has taken part in the Justice and Home Affairs Council meeting in Luxembourg. During the session, dedicated to border security, Buchvarova thanked the European Commission and Frontex that the start of the activities of the European Border and Coast Guard Agency was given in Bulgaria. This is proof of European solidarity, the minister pointed out, adding that the agency was expected to contribute to risk analysis at external borders, exchange of information on trafficking, terrorism and smuggling.
