“Germany has refused to extradite Turkish national Faruk Bektas who ran over two motorcyclists with his Mercedes, killing them, near the Bulgarian town of Dragoman,” said Bulgarian Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova.

Faruk Bektas was placed under house arrest after which it was revealed he had left the country. The incident was followed by a wave of biker protests across the country against the judicial system.
