Kristalina Georgieva becomes CEO of International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and International Development Association

Kristalina Georgieva is the best leader of the team that is expected to deal successfully with the global challenges, the spokesperson of the World Bank David Theis told the Bulgarian National Radio on Saturday. The President of the World Bank Jim Yong Kim personally decided to invite Mrs Georgieva to occupy the new position of Chief Executive Officer of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association. Kristalina Georgieva was invited to occupy that position due to her perfect reputation and professionalism, David Theis further said.
