Central Election Commission: Turnout at 2016 Presidential elections is higher than one in 2011

Bulgaria’s Central Election Commission announced that at 1 pm local time the turnout at this year’s Presidential elections was 26.2% and is higher than the one in 2011. The turnout at the previous Presidential elections held five years ago was 17.64% at 1 pm. 22.44% of all Bulgarian nationals with voting rights took part at the national referendum until 1 pm. The turnout at the 2015 national referendum was 18.4% at 1 pm.
