Bulgarian chess grandmaster Veselin Topalov has recorded a draw and a loss in the second round of the 2016 Champions Showdown chess tournament, taking place in St. Louis (USA).

In the second game of the round Topalov, once again playing with black pieces, reached a draw on the 38th move against Fabiano Caruana (US).
