The European Investment Fund has signed guarantee agreements with five Bulgarian banks under the Operational Programme “Initiative for Small and Medium Enterprises”.
The aim is to improve access to finance for over 4,000 Bulgarian small and medium enterprises by lowering security and interest rates. Financing under the above-mentioned five agreements will amount to 385 million euro or two thirds of the 600 million planned under this operational programme.
