Daniel Mitov: Sofia cannot accept President Erdogan’s statement on revision of borders

Outgoing Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov called on the President of Turkey Recep Erdogan to put his own country in order and added that Sofia cannot accept his statements aimed at a revision of latter-day borders.
In the words of the Bulgarian foreign minister, this latest act of reviving the idea of revising the Treaty of Lausanne is cause for very grave concern. It has no bearing on the borders of Bulgaria, nonetheless making borders the subject of discussion is inadmissible in the modern world, because revisionist political statements can lead to wars that nobody wants, Daniel Mitov said.
