President Plevneliev follows closely situation in Hitrino

Bulgaria’s President Rossen Plevneliev has been following closely the situation with today’s heavy explosion in Hitrino, where at least five people lost their lives and dozens were injured heavily, the press-center of the Bulgarian head of state announced. President Plevneliev calls on all competent institutions to take the necessary measures, in order to alleviate the consequences of the heavy incident. Bulgaria’s head of state appeals to all citizens to provide assistance to the authorities and follow the instructions of the rescue and medical teams that were sent to the site of the explosion.
