25 illegal migrants from Iraq kept under arrest

The court in the village of General Toshevo, Northeastern Bulgaria, decided to keep into custody 25 illegal migrants from Iraq - 15 women and 10 men, at the request of the District Prosecutor's Office. 11 children had also been part of the group before it was detained. The children have been accommodated in children's social institutions. The foreigners had crossed the border of Bulgaria illegally and were trying to reach Romania. The group had also left the refugee camp in the town of Harmanli, Southern Bulgaria, it was reported.
