Bulgaria's position at European Council meeting approved

The government has approved Bulgaria’s position at the European Council meeting scheduled for tomorrow in Brussels. The agenda will include questions connected with migration, security, economic and social development, youth and foreign relations.

At the discussion on migration, Bulgaria will highlight the need to continue to support all countries which are at the frontline of the migrant crisis and to replenish the rapid reaction capacity of the European border and coast guard. This country will also demand confirmation of the commitment to implement the agreements with Turkey, as well as the effective implementation of the agreement with Afghanistan, the Bulgarian news agency BTA reports.
