Code “yellow” has been declared in nine regions in northern and western Bulgaria over the formation of black ice and dangerous snowfalls,the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences has informed.
The warning is in effect for the following areas: Kyustendil, Pernik, Sofia City, Sofia Region, Lovech, Pleven, Vratsa, Montana, and Vidin. Temperatures will be dropping and rainfalls will quickly turn into snow, meteorologists also said.
