Logo of Bulgarian presidency of Council of EU officially presented

Head of the National Centre for Preparation of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU, Ambassador Lyubomir Ivanov, presented at an official ceremony in Sofia the official Bulgarian logo for the Presidency that is to take place in 2018. The author of the logo is Todor Angeliev and he was chosen among more than 180 artists who submitted their projects. In his logo Angeliev focused on three main elements - the Cyrillic alphabet, Bulgarian embroidery and the Bulgarian flag. The competition involved not only Bulgarians but also 10 foreign artists, including Macedonians, Germans and Ukrainians.
