Pleven Medical University sees record number of foreign students

A record number of students from 35 countries begin their studies at the Medical University in Pleven, Northern Bulgaria. For the first time students from Australia, the Philippines, Zimbabwe and Malawi have enrolled at the University. Every year the number of foreign students goes up. This year 295 foreign nationals have been admitted for their first year of study. Medical training is in English. 165 of the freshmen come from Europe and 130 – from other continents.
