Greek farmers have once again blocked the E 79 European route in the vicinity of Promahon border checkpoint with Bulgaria. The farmers formed a human chain, blocking traffic around 200 meters from the border checkpoint.
Traffic in both directions was blocked after 1 PM local time. The Bulgarian border authorities have informed their Greek counterparts that gendarmerie units are on their way to the road block.
