Bulgaria’s caretaker Minister of Energy Nikolay Pavlov has ordered that the exports of electricity should resume as of February 8, 2017. The energy reserves are enough for the power engineering system to function normally, Minister Pavlov points out. The ban on electricity export was introduced on January 13 this year due to extremely low temperatures which caused a serious imbalance between electricity production and electricity consumption at a national level.
