Bulgaria ranks third in Europe when it comes to received EU financing this year

Bulgaria is among the first member states of the EU when it comes to received interim payments this year under the operational programs for the period 2014 – 2020. This is what an official report from the European Commission sent to the committees in the European Parliament shows. Thus Bulgaria ranks third in the European chart for 2017, as EC payments for the country reached 67 million euros. In comparison in January Finland received 3 million euros, Italy received 4 million euros and payments to Hungary reached 2 million euros. Some 20 Member States have not received any payments.
