Businesses to participate in preparation of Bulgarian EU presidency

Employers' organizations, NGOs and academia will play an important role in the drafting of the National Programme of the Bulgarian presidency of the EU Council in 2018. This is what Deputy Prime Minister responsible for the preparation of the Presidency of Bulgaria, Denitsa Zlateva, said at a meeting with the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association. The association said that during the Bulgarian presidency this country should request entering the Eurozone waiting room, known as ERM2, as well as the Schengen area. It should also work for access of Bulgarian companies to financing from European funds.
