According to a Eurobarometer survey from the end of 2016, the European right Bulgarians hold most dear is the freedom to travel, work and live in the EU.

87 percent of respondents say they approve of this European policy, followed closely by defence and security policies (with an approval rate of 72 percent), and migration (68 percent). 81 percent of the respondents in all EU member countries say they approve of mobility within the union. Bulgarians still tend to have more confidence in European than in national institutions, with approval of the EU at 49 percent, disapproval at 34 percent and 17 percent undecided.
