The Bulgarian National Men’s football team marked a serious progress in the monthly FIFA rankings. It climbed 16 positions to the 55th position with a total score of 614 points. This was due to the victory against the team of the Netherlands in the World Cup qualifier last month. Bulgaria defeated 2:0 the Netherlands and kept its chance to qualify for the 2018 World Cup tournament. Brazil is the new leader in FIFA's rankings, followed by Argentina, Germany, Chile, Colombia, France, Belgium, Portugal, Switzerland and Spain.
