Famous Bulgarian musicians and artists will take part in the Balkan Trafik Festival in the coming days. This year the forum takes place in two parts – in the period May 20-23 events will be held in Brussels, in the BOZAR Hall and from June 2 to June 3 - in Paris in Le PALACE Hall. The event is a cocktail of music, movies, dances, dishes, and drinks with Balkan flavor and it has a clear message: "At a time when countries are closing borders, the festival continues to be a unique space for dialogue and discovery."
The program consists of 10 concerts of ethno-jazz, electro and brass formations. On Sunday the film Bezbog by Ralitsa Petrova will be screened, followed by a concert on May 22 by folk ensemble Golden Thrace and the Haskovo orchestra.
The culmination will be in Paris where Bulgarian clarinet virtuoso Ivo Papazov-Ibryama and his wedding band will perform with a special guest - the greatest French trumpeter Michel Portal! Radio Bulgaria will follow the festival closely and will report on it.
