The European Commission has presented its specific recommendations for the economic policies of member states, including Bulgaria, within European Semester 2017. It is expected that Sofia will respect the Stability and Growth Pact both in 2017 and in 2018, which sends a positive signal to investors.
In order to achieve sustainable economic growth and to improve the standard of living of Bulgarian citizens, Bulgaria is urged to accelerate its structural reform program.
