Tran municipality is holding on Sunday a local referendum on gold mining. The citizens are asked whether the Municipal Council should (shouldn’t) approve structural regulation for extraction and procession of metallic minerals. The referendum was initiated due to the concerns of the local citizens that possible gold mining in Tran area would pollute the environment. The Tran referendum will be valid if voter turnout is at least 40%.
