The government has approved the update of the National Reform Programme for 2017 in response to a Council of the EU recommendation.
The programme commitments have been reinforced and new measures included in tax policy, active labour market policies, outreach and retention in the system of education, vocational education and training, reduction of direct payments by patients in the health system and addressing the shortage of health professionals.
