The government has permitted aircraft and air force personnel from Israel to fly over and remain on Bulgarian territory in connection with a Bulgarian-Israeli flight training non-military exercise scheduled for September.
Up to forty-two aircraft and their personnel as well as up to forty coordination and technical maintenance staff from Israel are to take part. The aim of the exercise is to enhance interoperability and extend military cooperation between the armed forces of the two countries.
