Vice President Yotova meets President of Moldova Igor Dodon

Bulgarian Vice President Iliana Yotova, who is paying an official visit to Moldova, has held a working meeting with President Igor Dodon.

During the meeting it was recalled that this year the 25th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries is marked.

Positive dynamics in trade relations have also been pointed out. On Thursday Iliana Yotova and Igor Dodon will visit the city of Taraclia, inhabited predominantly by ethnic Bulgarians, where the problems of the Bulgarian diaspora in Moldova will be examined.

According to various data, as quoted by BTA, there are 80,000 to 100,000 Bulgarians living in Moldova.
