Bulgaria’s exports to non-EU countries over the January-August 2017 period are up by 16.8 percent compared to the same period of last year, reaching a total of 11,694 million Leva /5,963 million euro/, National Statistical Institute data indicate.
The country’s principal export destinations are Turkey, Russia, China, Serbia, Macedonia and Egypt. At the same time imports from non-EU countries are up by 26.7 percent reaching 13,933 million Leva /7,104 million euro/. The highest value commodity imports are from Russia, Turkey, China and Serbia.
